1. Product Introduction

SP-4506 is our company’s UAV spray adjuvant. It can effectively reduce the proportion of small droplets, enhance the anti-drift capability of the spray solution, improve wetting performance, and increase spray deposition. During UAV application, small droplets in the spray solution tend to drift and evaporate during deposition due to UAV flight dynamics and adverse weather conditions. Upon contact with the target, droplets may bounce off or slide down, resulting in low deposition and unsatisfactory efficacy. Therefore SP-4506 is a suitable choice.

3. Product Features

    1. A tank-mix adjuvant with dual functions: droplet size regulation and wetting improvement. Widely applicable to various spraying scenarios, including UAV aerial spraying and conventional ground spraying.

    2. Significantly improves the droplet size distribution of the spray solution, effectively reducing the proportion of small droplets and shifting the droplet size toward the optimal biological range.

    3. Reduces the evaporation rate of droplets during sedimentation, enhances the “water retention” function of the spray solution, minimizes water loss under high-temperature and drought conditions, while improving wetting performance and increasing deposition.

    4. Effectively enhances the anti-drift capability of the spray solution, reduces drift loss, and improves application efficacy.

    Recommended dosages for different spraying equipment:

    • UAV aerial spraying in field crops: 100–200× dilution

    • Large boom sprayers: 500× dilution

    • Conventional sprayers: 500–1000× dilution


4.Application Examples

After tank-mixing SP-4506 with the spray solution, the droplet size distribution is significantly optimized, the generation of small droplets is reduced, and drift loss is lowered. At the same time, the “water retention” function of droplets is enhanced, reducing evaporation during sedimentation. This is especially suitable for spraying under high-temperature and drought conditions, effectively improving the utilization efficiency of the spray solution.

As shown in the atomization droplet size distribution: Red line (140#) refers to droplet size distribution of the pesticide alone, green line (141#) stands for a commercially available UAV spray adjuvant treatment group, and blue line (145#) represents the group treated with SP-4506 special UAV spray adjuvant. The droplet size spectrum of the SP-4506 treatment group overall shifts toward larger particle sizes with a narrower distribution, presenting a prominent optimization effect.

The test data show that SP-4506 effectively reduces the proportion of small droplets, increases the overall droplet size, and yields a larger peak diameter. At the same time, the span of the droplet size distribution is narrower, the size distribution is more concentrated, and droplet uniformity is higher. Compared with commercial UAV spray adjuvants, SP-4506 exhibits superior droplet size regulation, more pronounced anti-drift effects, and better water retention and efficacy enhancement.
