SP-6027 is a synergist adjuvant that enhances spray deposition. Conventional pesticide sprays often exhibit poor adhesion and low deposition because of the hydrophobic nature of grass weed leaves. Owing to its low dynamic surface tension, SP-6027 effectively reduces droplet bounce-back on hydrophobic target leaves, and it outperforms other wetting adjuvants in improving deposition.

Due to its low dynamic surface tension, SP-6027 effectively reduces the bounce-back of spray droplets on hydrophobic target leaves, enhances droplet adhesion on leaf surfaces, and increases droplet retention and deposition on target surfaces. At the same time, it promotes wetting and spreading of the spray solution on target leaves and enhances penetration into the target, thereby improving the overall control efficacy of the pesticide.
This product can be used as a tank-mix adjuvant or incorporated into formulations. For tank-mix use, the recommended dilution ratio is 1,000–2,000×. It is also suitable for formulation addition in liquid formulations such as EC, with a recommended addition level of 10%.
When 10% Tiafenacil EC diluted at 300× is tank-mixed with SP-6027 at 1,000× and sprayed on corn and barnyard grass, it can be observed that the base formulation alone has low deposition and poor wetting/spreading on the leaves of gramineous crops and weeds. Adding SP-6027 to the tank-mix significantly increases spray deposition on hydrophobic leaves of corn and barnyard grass, effectively improving the wetting and spreading performance of the spray solution.
